Doutta Galla              BOWLS

The Doutta Galla Bowls club began competing in Pennant bowls in the 1940’s. It has a proud and long history which is reflected in its honour boards that proudly adorn our clubrooms. The club remains at 52-56 Kerferd Street Essendon North, in the northern suburbs of Melbourne.

Our clubrooms contain a fully licensed bar,  lounge, large hall, ladies & men’s changes rooms and an undercover area with BBQ facilities.

Doutta Galla fields pennant sides on Tuesday and Saturday with teams ranging across a number of divisions. This means that Doutta Galla Bowls Club is well suited for players of all levels and offers opportunities to move up through the ranks as they improve. 

We are managed by a committee who are elected at the Annual General Meeting. Our committee exists to manage the club championships, tournaments, social activities, functions, property maintenance and pennant competitions.
